Ingredients:
To marinate the chicken:
- 1cup Full Cream Yogurt
- 1 Lemon Juice
- 2 Turmeric
- 2 Garam Masala
- 1 Cumin
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 Ginger, grated
- 750g Sadia Easy and Juicy Chicken Breast Cubes
For the sauce:
- 1½ Tbsp. Butter
- ½ Tbsp. Olive Oil
- ½ cup Onion, chopped
- 1 Garlic Clove, minced
- 1 Ginger, grated
- 1 Garam Masala
- ½ Tsp. Red Chili Powder
- ¼ Tsp. Cayenne Pepper
- ¼ Tsp. Salt
- 150g Tomato Sauce
- 2 Tomato Paste
- 1 Cup Cooking Cream
- Fresh Coriander for garnishing
Method:
- To marinate the chicken: Combine yogurt, lemon juice, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, garlic, ginger and chicken cubes in a big bowl. Toss well to combine, cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
- To prepare the sauce: Heat ½ Tbsp. of butter and the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and sauté until softened then add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute to fragrant. Add the garam masala, chili powder, cayenne and salt. Stir and cook until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the marinated chicken cubes and sauté until the chicken is no longer pink on the outside.
- Add the tomato sauce and tomato paste and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the chicken is cooked through.
- Reduce the heat, and add the cooking cream and remaining butter, and warm gently until the butter is melted.
- Transfer to a big serving dish over hot cooked rice and garnish with fresh coriander and serve.
