Sunflower oil | 4 tbsp |
Plain flour | 140g |
Salt | ½ tsp |
Eggs | 2 |
Milk | 175ml |
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 220°C.
Prepare the Sadia Chicken Franks:
Heat a frying pan with a small amount of sunflower oil.
Fry the Sadia Chicken Franks until browned, then set them aside.
Heat the Oil in the Oven Dish:
Pour the remaining sunflower oil into a deep oven dish.
Place the dish in the oven to heat up for about 10 minutes until the oil is very hot.
Make the Batter:
In a bowl, mix the plain flour and salt.
Create a well in the center, crack in the eggs, and whisk together.
Gradually add the milk while whisking to form a smooth batter.
Allow the batter to rest for 5 minutes.
Assemble and Bake:
Carefully remove the hot oven dish.
Pour the batter into the dish and quickly place the browned chicken franks on top.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the batter is puffed up and golden brown.
