Sadia Mini Chef Chicken Popcorn | ½ pack |
Sadia Frozen Mixed Vegetables | 1 cup |
White Rice, washed and drained well | 1 cup |
Turmeric | ½ tsp |
Butter | 2 tbsp |
Water | 2 cups |
Salt | ½ tsp |
Vegetable Oil | ½ cup |
Sweet and Sour Sauce, more for serving | 1 cup |
Cook the Rice:
In a large pot, melt butter over medium-high heat.
Add the washed rice, mixed vegetables, turmeric, and salt. Stir well to coat evenly.
Add 2 cups of water and reduce the heat to low.
Cover the pot and let it simmer for 15 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked and the water is absorbed.
Fry the Chicken Popcorn:
While the rice is cooking, heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Fry the Sadia Mini Chef Chicken Popcorn until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
Once cooked, place them on kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
Coat the Chicken Popcorn:
Pour the sweet and sour sauce into a bowl and toss the crispy chicken popcorn in it until they are well-coated.
