Ingredients you need
Sadia Chicken Drumsticks 900g
Olive oil 3 tbsp
Rashers of turkey bacon, finely chopped 4
Red onions, finely chopped 50g
Macadamia nuts, finely chopped 5 tbsp
Fresh parsley, finely chopped 2 tbsp
Dried thyme 1 tsp
Salt and pepper, to taste

Cooking directions

  1.  Preheat the Oven:
     Preheat your oven to 180°C.

  2. Prepare the Stuffing:
    Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and finely chopped onions. Cook until the onions become soft and translucent.
    Add the macadamia nuts, parsley, and thyme to the pan. Cook for another 2 minutes and set aside.

  3. Stuff the Sadia Chicken Drumsticks:
    Gently pull back the skin from each Sadia Chicken Drumstick. Make a slit in the thickest part of the chicken.
    Place a spoonful of the macadamia stuffing into the slit you made. Pull the skin back over to cover the stuffing and secure it with a toothpick.
    Repeat this process for all the drumsticks and place them in a baking tray Reduce the heat to a simmer and cover for 35-40 minutes.

  4. Bake the Sadia Chicken Drumsticks:
    Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the stuffed chicken drumsticks.
    Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, turning them halfway through. Bake until the chicken is golden and cooked through.

  5. Serve:
    Remove the drumsticks from the oven, discard the toothpicks, and serve hot. Enjoy with your favorite sides!
