Ingredients for Chicken Stuffed Portobello with Sadia Chicken Burgers:
Prepare the Mushrooms:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp tissue. Avoid rinsing in water to prevent sogginess.
Remove the stems from the mushrooms and finely chop them for the filling.
Cook the Filling:
Heat olive oil in a frying pan.
Sauté the onions and garlic until softened.
Add the crumbled Sadia Chicken Burgers and chopped mushroom stems, stirring to combine.
Mix in the red bell peppers, Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, and parsley. Cook until everything is well incorporated.
Stuff the Mushrooms:
Divide the chicken mixture evenly among the mushrooms.
Use the back of a spoon to gently press the filling into the mushroom caps.
Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes.
Add Cheese and Finish Baking:
Remove the tray from the oven and top each mushroom with grated mozzarella and a sprinkle of black pepper.
Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of black pepper. Serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.
